Before they finally called it a day due to artistic similarities in January 2007, an eclectic acoustic quartet of siblings, Läskiämpäri, had been working on a studio album of their own material for almost ten years.
Formed in 1997, and taking their name from a Finnish insult (their name literally means "fatbucket"), they played around the pub circuit with an entertaining mixture of unusual acoustic covers by the likes of Cake, Therapy?, Frank Sinatra and The Doors, and their own original compositions.
This collection of songs would have most-likely have become their definitive studio album and until now has never seen the light of day. It is a lasting testament to the talents one of Barnsley's finest unknown bands.
